Teams from Bethel have served numerous times in Costa Rica, leading vacation Bible schools, completing construction projects in mission churches, & sharing the Gospel with hundreds of amazing people. We serve through the mission endeavors of PIBD (Primera Iglesia Bautista Desamparados, Costa Rica).
Since 2009, our pastor, Tim Davis, has served in Guatemala with the Pineywoods Camp staff & Mike Brister of Stepstones Ministry International, to build homes for orphans & widowed moms among the Mayan people groups. Our efforts are carefully guided through the wisdom of career-missionary Teri Littrell. The Bethel RiseUp Student Ministry gives sacrificially so that Lucrecia (a most beautiful Guatemalan girl) can attend public school each year.
We began our "solo" efforts in Guatemala in 2014 when a team of 10 Bethel missionaries built 2 houses. In 2015, our team of 14 built 2 houses & 2 stoves. Watch the 2014 & 2015 videos to get a glimpse of how God used us, & how He might be calling you. In 2016, our team of 17 built 3 houses & 3 stoves. See the three different 2016 construction team videos for a glimpse at our week. In 2017, our team of 20 built two houses (each with stoves) & a new kitchen facility for the local public school in Agua Escondida (complete with two stoves). Special thanks to Pineywoods Camp, PowerPlus Camps & other generous donors for funding the construction of our houses & assisting our team members to go.
Please pray for Bethelonian Julie Peters, Guatemala Missionary Intern with Teri Littrell. Pray for her personal development & her usefulness in God's Kingdom. You can support Julie financially through E-Giving (click HERE to go to our E-Giving).

Interested in changing the world for folks in the island nation of Haiti? Remember, everyone can pray, many can give, some can go. Seek the Lord to find out how He wants you involved.
In October, 2012, a mission team of 10 from Bethel & La Hermosa traveled to Drouin, Haiti for the expressed purposes "storying" the Bible for local school children, providing construction labor for the local school, & leading revival service for the Rice Paddy Church.
